Mobile Water Therapy was created to meet the needs of individuals with mobility restrictions and lack transportation by providing the ability to access the benefits of water and physical therapy using an underwater treadmill.
In addition to daily mobility, water therapy can be helpful for post surgical rehabilitation. The ability to stay mobile is important for everyone. From senior citizens maintaining the ability to age in place to individuals with chronic health conditions such as arthritis, social behavior aspects to children with autism spectrum disorders, fibromyalgia, pulmonary and diseases such as asthma, fatigue, anxiety, obesity, muscle spasms, and surgical rehabilitation not to mention the daily functioning of simply walking and movement, which affect mobility. Water creates low impact therapy and has been proven to be an effective aid for pain relief and aid in mobility.
It is not the intent of mobile water therapy to replace the traditional pool settings for therapy. Quite the contrary, we will enhance the water therapy experience. Rehabilitation requires a team effort. We are here to participate as part of your team to wellness and better mobility. Consult your physician and physical therapist before scheduling.
